IIT Bombay has released the CEED cut-off for part A on its official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. First, the CEED qualifying cutoff for part A has been released by the authorities online. Only those candidates who qualify in Part A of the CEED exam will be evaluated for Part B. The CEED cut-off has been released in the form of a mean and a standard deviation. The mean and standard deviation is calculated based on the performance of all the candidates who appeared for CEED entrance exam Part A. The CEED entrance exam was conducted on January 18, 2026. To calculate the CEED 2026 final score, Part A marks have 25% weightage while Part B marks have 75% weightage. There is no centralised counselling in CEED 2026. Since each institute conducts its admissions separately, the CEED cut-off is determined by each institute separately.
As per the CEED cutoff for IIT Bombay category, the CEED Part A cut off is calculated in the following aspect mentioned in the table.

The IIT Bombay CEED cutoff is determined by certain parameters. The CEED cut off mark for Part A is the minimum mark students need to secure to qualify for Part A. Note that CEED Part B cutoff will be evaluated only if the candidate had qualified for Part A.
Aspiring students are required to secure a minimum CEED rank for IIT Bombay and other IIT campuses to gain M.Des admission at Kanpur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Delhi, Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IISc Bangalore.
The CEED qualifying cut-off is the minimum score that candidates need to qualify for the next stage of the admission process. The cutoff varies depending on the programme, category, and institute of the candidates. The CEED exam comprises of two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A is a computer-based test that evaluates the candidates’ design aptitude and analytical skills. Part B is a pen-and-paper test that assesses the candidates’ drawing, creativity, and communication skills. Only the candidates who score above the CEED Part A cut off are shortlisted for Part B evaluation. The final CEED score is calculated based on the marks obtained in Part B only.

IIT Bombay will declare the CEED result in online mode. Aspirants can the result of CEED by entering the required credentials in the login window. Aspirants will also have to download the CEED scorecard from the official website of CEED when it is available from March 10, 2026. The CEED scorecard is valid for one year from the date of the result declaration.
