KS DAT counselling is a transparent process of seat allotment into the design courses. The seat allotment is done through a single window system (SWS) under the counselling process by the LBS Centre of Science and Technology. In this process, the candidates are given a choice of preference to opt for the desired college. The list of participating institutes that offer design admission through KS DAT will be available on the official website. The KS DAT admission is strictly based on the rank obtained and the reservation of the candidate.

The KS DAT 2026 counselling will begin with the registration, followed by choice filling and seat allotment. Only those candidates whose names will appear in the rank list are eligible for counselling. The authorities will conduct two rounds of KS DAT seat allotment. Candidates need to click on ‘Option Registration,’ which displays all the colleges listed under CAP, the total seats available, and the course fee applicable.
