NIFT Cutoff: Campus-Wise Opening & Closing Ranks, Previous Year Cutoff PDF
National Institute of Fashion Technology will publish the NIFT cut-off on its official website - nift.admissions.nic.in. Only those candidates who clear the cut-off in each of the NIFT counselling rounds are offered admission. The authorities release the category-wise NIFT cutoff for each of the programmes at each NIFT campus. The NIFT cutoff will be available as the opening and closing ranks of shortlisted candidates. The National Testing Agency conducts the NIFT entrance exam for admissions into the design programmes of NIFT campuses across India. The NIFT cutoff ranks will be determined based on the candidate's score in the NIFT 2026 result which will be announced in April 2026. NTA conducts the NIFT entrance exam once a year for admissions into B.Des and B.FTech programmes offered by the NIFT campuses in India.

How to Check NIFT Exam Cutoff?
The NIFT cutoff is released at the time of counselling for admissions. Candidates can view and download the NIFT cutoffs by following the steps below:
- Step 1: Go to the official website - nift.admissions.nic.in
- Step 2: Under the e-services tab, click on OR-CR
- Step 3: Select the desired programme
- Step 4: The NIFT cut-off will be displayed on the screen
Factors that determine NIFT Cutoff
The following factors are considered while determining the NIFT cutoff
- Total number of candidates appearing in the NIFT entrance exam
- The difficulty level of the exam
- The seat matrix for B.Des and B.FTech in each NIFT campus
- Performance of the candidates in the NIFT entrance exam
