The aspirants planning to be admitted to the IIAD design course must meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute for admissions into its UG and PG programmes. The IIAD eligibility criteria 2026 are provided separately for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programme

• Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent from any stream (Science, Commerce, Humanities/Arts) with 50% as minimum score. 
• The students who are going to appear for class 12 exams or who are awaiting their class 12 results are also eligible to apply.
• The students from CBSE/ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board are eligible.

Postgraduate Programme Eligibility Criteria

• Graduates from any stream or discipline from a recognised institute/university.
• Final-year graduate students are also eligible.
• Candidates who are awaiting results may also apply.

Indian Institute of Art & Design has opened the IIAD 2026 application form online on its official website - iiad.edu.in. The aspirants must submit the IIAD application form 2026 before the deadline. While filling out the application form, the applicants must pay Rs. 2500 as the application fee online. 

The institute will accept the IIAD 2026 registrations in multiple phases with a separate deadline for each phase. • First, visit the official website of IIAD - iiad.edu.in.
• Next, find and click on the “Apply” link. 
• Next, choose the course for which you want to apply.
• Then, click on the link called “Click here to Apply”.
• Fill out the IIAD 2026 registration form with basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number to generate the login credentials.
• Next, log in to the dashboard using the login credentials and fill out the IIAD entrance exam 2026 application form.
• Then, pay the application fee of Rs 2500 in online mode.
• Finally, submit the completed application form and take a printout of it for your future use.
