IIT Bombay conducts the UCEED exam for admission into B.Des program at various IITs and other colleges. Those who appeared for the UCEED 2026 entrance exam, must be curious about the question “What is a good score in UCEED 2026?”. What is a Good Score in UCEED 2026?
A UCEED score of 150-200+ is expected to be a good score in UCEED entrance exam 2026 for general category. A good UCEED score will also depend on certain factors, including the difficulty level of the exam, UCEED cutoff marks, and the number of candidates who appeared for the UCEED exam.
The UCEED cutoff plays a pivotal role in determining a good score in UCEED 2026. The cutoff for Part A is the minimum score that candidates need to be eligible for B.Des admission. IIT Bombay will release the cutoff for Part A on its official website.

UCEED Cutoff 2026
UCEED cutoff marks in the minimum score required for a candidate to satisfy for admission to B.Des courses in IITs and other UCEED participating colleges. Since the UCEED exam was easier this year according to the student opinion, it is expected that the cutoffs will be higher. The UCEED cutoff marks vary for different sections and categories of the exam. The UCEED cutoff will be released along with the rank list which will show the rank of candidates on the basis of their UCEED scores. To know a good score in UCEED for IIT, the candidates will have to refer to the previous year's UCEED cutoff marks for IITs given below as a reference.

How to achieve a good score in the UCEED 2026 exam?
Know the UCEED exam pattern and syllabus: The UCEED syllabus covers topics related to design such as observation, visualization, creativity, reasoning, and language. The UCEED exam pattern consists of two parts: Part A (online) and Part B (offline). UCEED Part A has three types of questions: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Part B has one question that requires drawing a solution to a given design problem.
Practise important topics from the UCEED syllabus such as abstract tests, mathematical geometry, reasoning questions, English comprehension, general knowledge, and environmental studies.
