The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), which has multiple campuses across the country, is India's top undergraduate and graduate school. Even though there are only 5000 spots available for the Bachelor of Design Program, about 20,000 students attempt the NIFT entrance exam each year. The NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 is scheduled on February 8th, 2026. If you believe this is your game, get ready. The NIFT-GAT syllabus typically consists of 5 subjects which are Communication Ability & English Comprehension, Quantitative ability, Analytical ability, General knowledge, and current affairs. The NIFT-GAT part of the test presents itself as a diverse array of topics testing abilities. Hence, the NIFT study material for the GAT section can be divided into the following sections.

One of the most crucial phases of NIFT preparation that students typically overlook is the NIFT Situation Test. After passing both NIFT GAT and CAT, the shortlisted students have to give the NIFT Situation Test.In this test, candidates will be given a range of resources like a mount board, aluminium foil, needle and thread, transparent sheet, pins, green/blue and red clay, beads, blue and red color paper, ice cream sticks, long sticks, cloth, thick sheets, and foil paper, out of which they have to create something. The weightage of the NIFT Situation Test in the exam is 20%.
