The National Institute of Design is recognised as one of the most prestigious design institutes in India. NID offers Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Design (MDes) admissions every year. The admissions are based on the scores obtained in the NID DAT exam. The NID DAT exam comprises 2 stages - Prelims and Mains. NID offers a BDes programme for the eligible candidates. For this the applicants need to clear the Prelims and Mains exams that will be conducted by the authorities. Every year, the NID DAT passing marks vary. The NID DAT passing marks are henceforth provided as NID Cutoff that are used for filling up the seats in all NID courses. Hence candidates need to score the passing marks in the entrance exam to obtain NID admission.
