The National Institute of Design will notify the NID M.Des 2026 cut-off on its official website - admissions.nid.edu. The NID M.Des expected cut-off 2026 will change due to the revised NID selection process. The NID M.Des 2026 consists of two components - prelims and mains. Candidates will be required to clear the NID prelims 2026 qualifying cut-off, followed by the NID M.Des mains final cut-off 2026. The NID cut-off will be published separately for each design specialisation. The NID M.Des prelims result will not be considered for final selection. Only those candidates who appear and clear both components of the NID M.Des entrance exam will be considered for admission. The M.Des programme is offered by three NID campuses, namely Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bangalore.
As per the revised NID selection process, the NID prelims is only a qualifying exam. The marks in NID M.Des prelims will not be carried forward to the mains. The final selection of the candidates will be done based entirely on the score in the NID mains.
The NID M.Des cut-off rank 2026 is expected to remain in line with the trends seen in the past. However, the NID M.Des cut-off marks is expected to change as only marks in the mains will b considered for final admission.
