The National Institute of Design (NID) opened the window for BDes seat allotment round-2. The NID BDes seat allotment round-2 started on June 12, 2025. Candidates need to use their registered email Id and date of birth to login. Shortlisted candidates need to confirm their seat by making the payment of token fees which is non-refundable and upload the required documents from June 12 to 15 until 5 PM. The B.Des provisional offer letter for round-2 will be issued on June 19, 2025 at 4 PM. NID seat allotment is done based on the final result and marks of NID entrance exam.

The seat allotment process of NID 2025 depends on various factors, such as:

Valid Photo Identity: Anyone valid photo identity proof (Aadhar Card, Election ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport)
Proof of Date of Birth: Birth Certificate OR Proof of Date of Birth
10th class Mark-sheet
12th class Mark-sheet: In case a hard copy is not available, the digital copy of the same duly attested by the School Principal needs to be uploaded
Self-Undertaking: Formats available on a specific website, signed by the candidate as well as his/her parent, in case of the candidates whose results of Class XII is yet to be declared
Caste Certificate: GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST Certificate, if applicable
Disability Certificate: Along with UDID Card, if applicable
Valid Passport: If applied under the Supernumerary category
Aspirants should ensure that all the necessary documents are uploaded as a single PDF file of size not more than 10 MB. The candidates who have applied under the Overseas category should produce a valid passport. The candidate must ensure that the passport is current (not expired) at the time of applying online. It is the candidate’s responsibility to obtain relevant visas and ensure that their passport is valid till the duration of the programme.
