NIFT 2026 Expected Cutoff, Course-Wise & Campus-Wise Rank, Counselling Rounds
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) releases cutoffs for all NIFT seat allotment rounds for all the programmes and categories. NIFT 2026 cutoffs for Round 1, 2, and 3 for UG and PG programmes will be released on the official website- nift.admissions.nic. NIFT cutoffs are different for every NIFT campus. Those who meet the NIFT cutoff for a particular round are offered admission into programmes. The NIFT cutoff will be available in the form of opening and closing ranks of shortlisted candidates.

- How to Check NIFT 2026 Cutoff?
There will be approximately three rounds of NIFT counselling and one spot counselling for UG and PG programmes for NIFT 2026. Last year, NIFT released a cutoff for three regular rounds and one SPOT seat allotment round as per NIFT counselling.
NIFT 2026 Expected Cutoff
Here we have mentioned the NIFT 2026 expected cutoff course-wise on the basis of previous year trends.
- B.Des (General Category): 110 to 120 rank (varies by campus)
- B.F.Tech (General Category): 95 to 105 rank
- M.Des (General Category): 160 to 170 rank
- MFM (General Category): 150 to 160 rank
Reserved Categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwD) will have lower cutoff ranks as compared to the general category.
NIFT Expected Cutoff (Campus-wise)
These are approximate closing NIFT rank ranges for popular campuses, likely to be similar to or slightly higher than last year.
- NIFT Delhi: <100
- NIFT Mumbai: 100-200
- NIFT Bengaluru: 130-250
- NIFT Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata: 300-600
- Other campuses like Bhubaneswar, Patna, Jodhpur, etc might have the rank band of 600-1200+ depending on programme & category.
How to Check NIFT 2026 Cutoff?
The institute-wise NIFT cutoff or closing rank will be released for all the categories for all the rounds, including the spot round. Candidates who meet the NIFT cutoff in their chosen course and category will be eligible for admission. Candidates can check the NIFT 2026 cutoff by following the steps.
- Visit the NIFT official website- nift.admissions.nic.in
- Under eServices, click on the OR-CR tab
- The OR-CR (opening rank - closing rank) for UG and PG courses will be displayed on the computer screen
- Click on the required link
- Select the NIFT seat-allotment round, institute, program, and category to get the relevant NIFT 2026 cutoff
- Once the NIFT cutoff is released, candidates can download it in PDF format.
