What is NIFT 2026 Situation Test Model?
The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts the NIFT 2026 situation test as the second stage of the admission into the B.Des programme. During the NIFT situation test, candidates will be required to create a model using the given materials. The NIFT 2026 situation test model will evaluate the candidate’s material handling and innovative ability. NIFT 2026 situation test to be announced soon. Only shortlisted candidates from the NIFT entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the NIFT 2026 situation test. The National Testing Agency conducted the NIFT 2026 on February 8, 2026.
NIFT 2026 Situation Test Model
During the NIFT situation test, candidates must create a model on a given situation with the given materials, and also submit a write-up in english explaining the concept behind the model they constructed.
NIFT Situation Test Model Evaluation Parameters
The NIFT situation test 2026 model will be evaluated by a jury of experts on the spot. The model created in the NIFT situation test will be evaluated on the following parameters -
- Space visualization,
- Innovative and creative use of the given material
- Composition of elements,
- Colour scheme
- Construction skill
- Finesse of the model
- Overall presentation
Rules and Guidelines for NIFT 2026 Situation Test Model
Given below are certain rules and guidelines that candidates must be aware of, while creating the model during the NIFT B.Des situation test.
- Candidates must not use any additional or outside materials to create the model other than the given material
- Any candidate who tries to disclose their identity by writing any personal details or placing any identification mark on the situation test model or the write-up will be disqualified
- The NIFT situation test model will not be preserved for future reference
- The write-up behind the NIFT 2026 situation test model must be submitted only in English. Marks will not be awarded for a write-up submitted in any other language.
