The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts the NIFT 2026 situation test as the second stage of the admission into the B.Des programme. During the NIFT situation test, candidates will be required to create a model using the given materials. Only shortlisted candidates from the NIFT entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the NIFT 2026 situation test. The National Testing Agency conducted the NIFT 2026 on February 8, 2026.
During the NIFT situation test, candidates must create a model on a given situation with the given materials, and also submit a write-up in english explaining the concept behind the model they constructed.
