The NIFT Situation test 2026 is the second stage of design admission process. Only those candidates who qualify the NIFT entrance exam will be eligible to appear for the situation test. The NIFT situation test 2026 will be conducted only for admission into the B.Des programme . Students must appear for both, the General Ability Test (GAT) & Creative Ability Test (CAT) and qualify in order to be eligible for the NIFT 2026 situation test. NIFT Situation Test Eligibility 2026
The candidates planning to obtain NIFT admission into the UG programme must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board or college with five subjects, and for BFTech degree, Mathematics is compulsory. The candidates seeking admission into the bachelor programs must meet the course-specific requirements. The eligibility criteria refer to the NIFT situation test eligibility, age and academic qualification. If the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria, then the candidate will be disqualified from the admission process.

NIFT 2026 Situation Test Eligibility Criteria
The NIFT 2026 will be conducted on February 8, 2026, for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the NIFT 2026 situation test date as per the schedule. Candidates must check the official website to keep track of the important dates. Candidates are advised to submit the required documents for the NIFT 2026 admission process. Applicants must appear for both the GAT & CAT exams. In case the candidate does not appear for any one of the exams, then he/ she will not be qualified for the NIFT 2026 situation test.
